We offer a range of arts workshops for schools, youth and community groups.
With the re-emergence of a cross-curricular approach to learning, Art Workshops can bring a vibrant and exciting dimension to almost any subject. Projects can be tailored to fit specific curriculum requirements, or simply used to have fun!
Most activities are also available as INSET workshops.

Lanterns are a lovely way cheer up the long dark nights! Willow and tissue lanterns are great fun to make, if a little messy! For younger children, if the willow and tissue is too adventurous, equally lovely lanterns can be made using recycled and re-used materials. Carole has been involved for many years now assisting schools in designing and making lanterns for the Bolsover Lantern Parade.A huge dragon made in four parts, was a main feature of the procession.Fish are a great favourite.An owl made from a recycled plastic bottle.
Sometimes it's nice to make something big and bold to show off your talents. Banners can be made using a variety of techniques...
Silk painting is vibrant and beautiful and accessible for all ages. this banner was the result of an art week spent immersed in the beautiful "Bog Baby" story, by Jean Willis and Gwen Millward.
Mud and other earthy pigments were used here to create inserts for this screen.
Everyone enjoys painting backdrops, they are just so BIG and can bring an ordinary school play to life.
